With a blast from the past Sega brings back to life castle of illusion, starring the always-lovable mickey mouse. This time in a beautiful Hd re-imagining of the old 16-bit version, which was released in 1990 for the Sega Genesis. At the time it was a one of a kind and the first to ever push the 16 bit to its limits, almost twenty three years later and many developers trying to pitch a remake of the game to the original director Emiko Yamamoto, Sega finally won her heart and joined as the adviser for the new version of the game.
As Emiko Yamamoto herself said ``this is not a simple remake, yes the game will bring back the memory’s, but we hope that the old feelings and emotions of playing the original comes along with the adventure. With 16-bits, developers did not have much to work with and always had limits to create, but a lot has changed since then. We are in a time where we can bring our imaginations to life, so now there is so much we can do to castle of illusions which back then we could only dream of, That is why this is not just a remake but a re-imagining of the old game.’’ the game is set for a summer 2013 release, and will be available through pc download, Xbox live and the Psn network.
