A few years ago when Gina Carano was conquering the MMA scene and managing to look amazing while doing it, I got the chance to attend a press conference promoting the infamous match between her and MMA fighter Cristiane Justino Venancio aka "Cris Cyborg" that she (unfortunately, yes I am a fan) lost to. Not only is Gina absolutely gorgeous in person but she is also very sweet and down to Earth. As a fan, I am thrilled to find out that she will be playing the role of Avengelyne, based on the comic book series of the same name. Fans of the series, Carano, or both should be stoked because we all know that despite her MMA loss, this chick knows how to kick some serious ass. She's got real moves and she knows how to use them unlike many Hollywood starlets who must be trained for combat specifically for a film. Nope, Gina Carano hands her opponent's asses to them for a living. With that being said, I expect her to put on a great for show for us in the movie adaptation of Avengelyne and nothing less. |
