Written by Adriana Morales. Verizon recently announced and released a Halo title exclusively for the Verizon Windows Phone 8; Halo: Spartan Assault. What a way to get people to play and purchase, huh? I, for one, wouldn't go all cray considering that Verizon practically rapes their customers but hey, that's a whole other topic. The game is rated T for Teens and the graphics do look up to par. The story here in Spartan Assault is set in the events that occur between Halo 3 and Halo 4. Gamers will be able to experience the first missions the Sparton Ops participate in and even get into the backstory of the Human Covenant wars. Players can also choose between characters Commander Sarah Palmer or Spartan Davis as they are stationed aboard the UNSC Infinity and embark on a journey to battle against the Covenant. Halo: Spartan Assault is priced at $6.99 in the Windows Phone Store. |
