It seems that Spider Man could possibly have his hands full in the near future. Paul Giamatti, during an interview promoting his new film "Parkland", revealed that his character Rhino is just "one of several bad guys" in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Giamatti believes that there will be a lot of "stage setting" for the next film. He also states about the villains that "some of them are more foreground and important, a couple of us are more hanging around the background because I think there will be a bigger deal." Giamatti also revealed some details about the Rhino's suit. “In the comic books of old, he had this suit on that made him look like a rhinoceros, and it made him super strong,” Giamatti told the Toronto Sun. “If there was a bank vault he would just run right through it. Butt through it with his head. And he was not very smart.”The fans of the franchise were not happy about the more realistic approach to the suit. It turns out that the final version of the suit will be updated, but no further details were given. Could these villains shape up to be the introduction of the Sinister Six? What does the new Rhino suit look like? With the addition of villains, will Spider-Man receive any help dealing with them? We will find out the answers to these questions once The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is released in theaters May 2nd, 2014. |
