At the February reveal of the ps4 controller, CEO of cloudstreaming-company Gaikai, David Perry said:
"The gamer is the center, it evolves around you. You'll be able to make use of the fastest and most powerful gaming-network out there. You'll be connected and able to know when a friend buys a new game, so you can play together."
"Gaikai will make free exploration possible, try out games for free within a click, and buy it if you like it. We've partnered with big services such as Facebook, but also our own services such as Sony Movies will be available."
"We want to create a Playstation network with meaning, dedicated to games. Spectating is very important, and will be so much easier with the share button. Aside from that, dev's are given spectating tools to increase your spectating pleasure."

You will be able to continue your ps4 gaming remotely with the built-in "remote play" feature at any time. Any ps4 game can be transferred between the ps4 and vita.
BACKWARDS COMPATIBILITY:
Unfortunately the ps4 will not support backwards compatibility meaning you will not be able to play any ps 1, ps2 or ps3 games. They will on the other hand be available through steaming services and/or downloads, but you will have to pay for that service
EXCLUSIVES:
Knack - is the one game on this list primarily aimed at younger gamers, but not exclusively. If you enjoyed playing games like Crash Bandicoot, Jak and Daxter, and Ratchet and Clank, Knack could be just for you, regardless of your age. Set during a war between humans and goblins, you control Knack, a creature made up of ancient relics.
Gameplay details are still sketchy, but we do know that the titular character of Knack is so-called because he has an innate ability to transform by incorporating different substances into his body. This should lead to varied gameplay thanks to different levels having different themes.
Infamous: Second Son - is, rather unsurprisingly, a new title in the Infamous series. Delsin Rowe is the new star of the show, a 24-year-old who suddenly discovers the ability to affect and manipulate fire and smoke (and perhaps more). Which means lots of impressive visual effects are going to be showing off the PS4′s capabilities.
This game is set seven years after the events of Infamous 2, but it feels like a reboot. This should mean you’ll be able to play the game without having played the previous titles. The first two Infamous games were very entertaining with large open worlds and incredible powerups, and Second Son looks to be continuing that trend.
Killzone: Shadow Fall - is a new title in the popular Killzone series. This is the fourth iteration for consoles, and the events of Shadow Fall follow on directly from Killzone 3, though a full 30 years later The plot revolves around a cold war between the Helghast and the Vektan, two species uncomfortably living side by side.
Gameplay will likely remain pretty much unchanged from the previous titles, with all the sci-fi weaponry you can lay your hands on. The Interplanetary Strategic Alliance (ISA) needs all the help it can get, and you’re their go to hero. No pressure.
DriveClub -(which will be available as a free download on release day) is a new racing game from Evolution Studios, previously responsible for the WRC series and Motorstorm series. In other words, they know how to make decent racing games. However, DriveClub shifts the focus from off-road to road racing. Expect a mix of Grid 2, Forza, and Need For Speed, with more instant playability (but less depth) than the Gran Turismo titles.
The developer has made some rather big claims about DriveClub, such as insisting it’s been in the making for nine years, and that it needed better hardware to even be feasible. Multiplayer is an important factor in the game, with social aspects coming into play as you race in teams with friends, hence the Club part of the title.
The Order: 1886 - is a mysterious game that was revealed as a brand new IP during Sony’s E3 press conference. The trailer shows an alternate history in which humanity has been at war with shadowy, as-yet-unspecified creatures for centuries. Until the Industrial Revolution takes place, and new weapons are forged to help defeat the foe.
This game takes place in London, and real characters from the period — Jack The Ripper, perhaps — are expected to make cameos. However, developer Ready at Dawn has suggested that there is scope for more games in the series set in different locations and during different time periods. So unless this first game flops, expect sequels aplenty.
CONCLUSION:
From the cant wait to play exclusives to the impressive user interface, the ps4 is shaping up to be one impressive system. It is priced at $399 or more depending on the bundle you purchase.
