He must must escort young Ellie (voiced and motion captured by Ashley Johnson) to a resistance group known as the fireflies. The fireflies believe That Ellie might hold the cure for the outbreak. As your journey unfolds you must protect Ellie from zombie-like creatures infected with the Cordyceps fungus, as well as hostile humans such as bandits and cannibals. An assorted collection of weapons are found as you progress, along with a visual representation of sound in order to listen for locations of enemies.you can also scavenge items to craft more powerful weapons and medical items, that can become very useful later on in the game.
