By Jonathan Arias 09/14/13 A new tale about WW1 is going to be told. Ubisoft has revealed a new title called Valliant Hearts: The Great War. The game is a 2d puzzle adventure that puts you in the boots of five different WW1 survivors. The team developing the game will be using the UbiArt Framework to animate the game's comic-book style. Each character's story will be linked by a dog that will be encounter at some point during the story. The protagonists include a German soldier, a French prisoner of war, an American volunteer, a Belgian nurse and a failed English pilot, whose stories are inspired by real-life letters from the time period. Ubisoft has stated that this game will be "far from a game simply about war", and " more about the people caught up in it." "Valliant Hearts" will be a download- only title for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One and will be released sometime next year. |
