when Anti-Heros should win

The Dark Knight had these feelings for me. I at one point even considered joker the anti-hero, I wanted him to prevail over batman at multiple points. He is my favorite superhero, but I wanted him to lose. Breaking Bad's midseason premiere, "Blood Money" just had me wanting Walter White "Heinsenburg" to succeed and win despite his numerous crimes. Some consider Walt the anti-hero or even a villain while Jesse Pinkman is the hero. If Walt is the villain, then I'm Team Villain. I'm rooting for him all the way.

Wanting more Mirror`s Edge

When Mirror's Edge came out, I was one of the few people that actually enjoyed the parkour-inspired game and hoped for a sequel to come out right away. It's been years since then and my hopes for a second part were pretty much forgotten, until now.

I've been reading my copy of Game Informer's latest issue and jumped for joy when I read the E3 2013 Trailers Section where Mirror's Edge 2 was mentioned. Although it was a short paragraph with no release date available just yet, I was still so happy to know that Faith (the protagonist for the series) has been given another chance. Faith has an updated look and it works great for her.  I can only imagine what trouble she gets into next.

I might be late to the news but I am no less excited. Here is to hoping that Mirror's Edge 2 ends up being way greater than it's first chapter and gathers a nice following as well.

For my experience playing Grand Theft Auto, their soundtracks have played a big part in my remembrance of the game. From classic rock to hardcore trap rap the soundtrack has become a staple of the franchise. With GTA V right around the corner, Rockstar has been ever hush hush about the music being featured in the game. The only tracks we can speculate are in the game are the ones featured in the trailer by Queen, Waylon Jennings, Jay Rock and Kendrick Lamar. Chicago rapper Chief Keef tweeted that his hood anthem Love Sosa will be in the game. I'm excited to learn more about the music selections.

Breaking Bad

Sunday marks the return of the greatest show on TV I've ever watched. I have debates between my favorite all time shows, I've watched Family Guy episodes over 1,000 times, Avatar the Last Airbender is an amazing epic tale, and Breaking Bad is just an adrenaline filled joyride. My favorite is out of those 3, but without a doubt Breaking Bad is the greatest show I've laid my eyes on. Vince Gilligan is a mastermind, he created this show and with AMC backing his idea, they've created greatness. I binged view thought 5 season in the matter of days in the summer of 2012. Even though I didn't started watching the show for the start in 2008 due to not having AMC until 2012. This show has made a lasting impression on me and I cannot wait for Sunday!

some games should just not be made.

There are some "games" out there that really should have never been developed to begin with. One such game, if that is what you want to call it, was rejected by Apple, Inc. for very sane purposes. However, if Android users wish to take the risk of obliterating their phones, this app is currently available on Google Play.

So, what is it already, right? Basically, "Send Me To Heaven", created by "Carrot Pop", instructs users to "Throw your phones as high as you can" so that the free game can measure the altitude of said device as it is soars helplessly into the air. Obviously, the catch here is that you have to, well, catch your phone or you won't find out the score; and probably will no longer have a functional phone either.

I know that gamers can be very competitive but I highly doubt anyone will actually want to risk breaking their phone in the name of gaming. (Then again, people do a lot of crazy things you wouldn't expect them to do.) It looks like Apple, Inc. has the right idea though as they stated that the rejection came in light of the app "encouraging behavior that could result in damage to the user's device." I pretty much say, DUH!, to that comment however the real question here is: Why did Android allow this crazy game to be available on Google Play? I know that it takes much more to crack an Android screen than it does to destroy the ever-so-fragile iPhone screen, but still, where is the consideration Android?!

Guess they don't care much about their customers.

Sports game decline.

With NCAA 14 being the last installment of the series following the NCAA's contract non-renewal with EA Sports couple with MLB 2k13 failure in sales, sports game seem to be in decline. NBA Live is trying to make a comeback after a 3 year hiatus which might add some spice to sports games. Sports game lack competition and need for innovation. In baseball, MLB The Show is a clear winner over 2k. In basketball, 2k put EA in a brief grave. In football, EA has bought exclusive rights making it the only game. There will no longer be any college games and no boxing has been released since Fight Night Champion. In soccer FIFA reigns supreme. Their will be no next-gen soccer game this year. I think sports games are on decline.
